When you're in group and someone drops one of those large metal water bottles on the floor, do you jump; startled?

I find the noise very irritating and annoying. And people around me seem to drop them a lot. Or accidentally knock them over with their feet when we're all sitting in a music rehearsal/whatever and they have their bottles on the floor. Just knocking the bottles over when the bottles are already on the floor makes a HUGE noise.
Maybe they're wanting to see my reaction. Grrrr.
