Nonsense. Trump RESPECTS Putin because he is strong and nationalistic and therefore a natural ally in the fight against globalism.
Nationalists by nature don't care what other countries do so long as they don't threaten our interests. Why would we hate the Russians? Most of them are complete leftists of course (which is a serious character flaw to be sure) though so long as they keep it to themselves and don't try to push it on us, what's the problem? The modern world is about nationalism versus globalism, not right versus left.
You have no idea how close we came to nuclear war because of Obama / Hillary's madness since the mainstream media doesn't report reality. Trump is engaging in necessary diplomacy to restore calm.
One of the reasons why the left will never understand reality is that you expect relations between nations to be like relations between people. It's just so different. You just don't understand how brutal the world is. You must stop obsessing over identity and personality politics. Relations between nations are based on mutual benefit, like agreeing to not vaporize each other, not social relationships.
