The Birther movement is complicated. There are many chef's fingers in that disgusting pie. It was ALWAYS a lie. Did you buy the lie? Why?

2004   Illinois political candidate Andy Martin said Obama was a "crypto Muslim"
2008   In the Spring Clinton supporters circulated an anonymous email questioning Obama's citizenship
2008   In August Phil Berg alleged that "Obama carries multiple citizenships and is ineligible to run for  pres" and filed a lawsuit

Obama's birth certificate was released and all Birthers insisted it was faked

Alan Keyes and Orly Taitz filed lawsuits denying Obama's citizenship. They were all thrown out of court

PET began talking about Obama's being ineligible for prez in February 2011 and kept it up until September 16, 2016 when he admitted he had lied and said "President Barack Obama was  born in the United States, period."

Now whether his worshippers all believe PET or not I am certain there are still Birthers who will always believes President Barack Obama was never a legitimate president.  Why? Because they hate him so. They are not the sharpest knives in the drawer and none of them are playing with a full deck of cards.

Many folks contributed to the absurd conspiracy. Some will die believing he should not have been president. People are what they are. Truth doesn't matter if they need to believe lies.  Any questions?

    How much proof is there of where you were born or anyone else from that era? Obama offered as much proof as any of us probably could. That being said it was all a distraction to cast doubt on the legitimacy of an Obama presidency. His opposition offered no proof to back their claims but were able to force Obama to defend himself against their accusations. When Obama offered his proof it was not for his accusers but to reassure his supporters. Even though I do not like the man, Obama and his family has more class and character than you see coming into the White House. Obama is not wicked, just misguided.

    Of course I didn't believe them, they were just being sore losers and doing whatever they can to get him out of the White House. Either that or they were legitimately insane, it's hard to tell sometimes.

    If you make a big deal about it, if it is a lie or NOT, it creates hysteria.   It tells hillbillies that Obama is a foreigner and a Muslim like nothing else can.  Because it is indirect and sneaky.  This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at November 21, 2016 6:46 AM MST
