    Bugged?  I think it is more like sympathize.   I think they know we are in for it.

    Well maybe but a Trump presidency could also negatively affect them too so their first thought might be :

    "Why did YOU  elect that guy"?

    I do NOT blame them.  I am on their side.  I did not elect that guy, and I feel much worse than they do about it.

    Right,  ok.

    Maybe if you travel overseas you should wear a button,  patch or t-shirt that says:

    I already apologized to my Canadian relatives for what less than half my country elected.  They understand.  LOL.  

    They really DO feel bad for us as a nation.

    I'm sure his supporters will be fully prepared to defend him. As for me, I'll work on perfecting an Australian accent before traveling overseas.
