If it is something that interests me, I read it in its entirety.

Several factors that will influence on my willingness to read all, or some of it. The below three factors have a larger influence on it for my part. Last but not least I'll have to see and be aware of the blog entry. Influencers: Subject (any interest/curiosity), Author (friends/none friends/BS'erts), and How well written it is (easy read/humour/irony/sarcasm). There is probably more than these that I just came across while giving it a brief thought.

I read every darned word always. I swear it.  And you can believe me because I never lie and I am always right.

I read anywhere from zero to maybe five blogs a day, it varies.

Most of the time I can make it through the blog if it's in paragraphs (also if it makes sense) - it's the walls of text (those in one giant paragraph) that I can't seem to digest :/

  • I have no problem reading more than five paragraphs.

I will not read through a block of text that needs to be broken into those paragraphs.

It took a lot of effort just to read your question.

  • It depends on two things. . .the first couple of sentences  . . .and if the person is a friend. If he's a friend  I read out of respect. If not. And it doesn't engage me in the first couple of sentences. I won't read it.

Seeing a huge unbroken block of words IS definitely an invitation not to read. Good question.

I've never read a blog, I guess I haven't caught the blog bug.

No one ever read them.  They were just too much for this site.  Too long and too involved.  We are too distracted as a group to focus on a topic for that long.  We can't sit mentally still for that long.
