It's obvious he is a exaggerator but I think he will do most of it but at a lessor degree.

If campaign pledges to rally the right are to be taken with a pinch of salt, then so are olive branches to pacify the left. Only time will tell.

I didn't support Trump based on the pledges you mention. I always knew that making progress to defeat the establishment would be very difficult.

Some of his pledges are just symbolic. It's not that building a wall is really that effective. Determined people just climb over it. Deporting all the illegals is probably logistically impossible. It's just sweeping leaves on a windy day. Banning Muslims is not really possible because there is no way to know what someone believes. People like these pledges not because they necessarily have much optimism they can be realistically be achieved. They like that someone has the balls to refuse to kneel to cultural Marxism. What is important is that he has the mentality that the interests of the U.S. come first. That will result in good outcomes in all kinds of ways. It's the nationalist mentality people want.

Some are statements of intention. Drain the swamp is an ideal to strive for. Though obviously it's not a simple thing to achieve. It's obviously an ongoing fight. There will always be a swamp, just hopefully a less disgusting one.

It's probably wise for Trump to not go after Hillary directly. While I would like to see Hillary and her crew in orange jumpsuits, I was never under any illusion that bringing the Clinton crime family down would be easy. Hopefully some brave FBI guy will leak the evidence to wikileaks. I believe that's the only way the truth will come out.
