I have not had a garage in several decades.  I have a storage shed.  It is not big, so I have to consolidate.  My brother has left a mess of tools in there, I don't use them, don't even know what is in there as far as that is concerned.  I know he has a lot of saws.

I have paintings and stuff like that in there.  Christmas and holiday décor.  That kind of stuff.  Nothing exciting whatsoever.

  • I have an assortment of mechanical and electronic equipment in various states of "I'm sure I can get this repaired, shouldn't be that difficult". . . Sort of thing.

  • My parents have a lot of crap in the garage, including but not limited to:

Electric leafblower, lawnmower, table saw (I think I saw my dad use it once), power-washer, weed-whacker...some of the stuff was kept in the garden shed, but most of the big stuff piled up in the garage. Of course I still have stuff there too that I need to go through!

  • LOL you guys who say you don't have a garage are spoiling my illusions.. see I think ALL Americans have enormous garages that in some cases are bigger than our whole house in the UK

  • A lot of stuff that I don't want posted on the internet for people to target for theft.  If it's broken,  I likely have the equipment to fix it and a good chance I have the parts,  and I almost certainly have the hardware and any stock needed.  That's all I will say.

I have a rototiller. If you garden, you gotta have one.

  • No way, much better to have a friend that does and let him/her store it the other 11 months. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at November 26, 2016 7:43 PM MST
