Do you suppose the Electorial College was created just to irritate everyone? As an example, Republican Rutherford B. Hayes also lost the popular vote but won the Presidency through the electorial vote. That turned out to be a good thing because Hayes pioneered the right for children of non-white races to have free public education. Today, Trump is way too clever not to leave his mark on the nation. He is just full of ideas and changes that will become evident in a few years. Perhaps his motto should be "making America America again". Trump is not W. Bush.
Thank you for your thoughtful reply bh. I appreciate it. Of course I have no way of knowing what PET will contribute to the country as president. No one else does either. So far it's just a lotta talk. He might be a great president., What bothers me is that as of yesterday 2.23 MILLION Americans showed their preference for Hillary. The counting continues. I don't KNOW that Hillary would have made a better president either. That will always be unknowable . We will find out about PET though but it will take time. What is America m'dear? Seriously? What was America? What did it lose? What does it need to be again. Oh. I guess I shall ask that question! Happy Sunday! :)
