Before you buy something you examine it carefully for flaws/imperfections. Some folks do that with everything/everyone they encounter. Why?

They focus on the flaws.  Dwell on the imperfectiosn. Miss the point of the forest because of a tree that doesn't meet their requirements. They do this repeatedly. Why are flaws/imperfections/irregularities more important to them than the whole?

You seem to carefully examine for flaws/imperfections on a daily basis, several times every day, in fact. Is it possible that you're one of those folks who does that with everything/everyone they encounter. Why?  You certainly seem to focus on the flaws, dwell on the imperfections. Do you repeatedly and purposefully miss the point of a tree that doesn't meet your requirements?  Why?

If it's wrong for others to do, how can it be right for you to do?  Why?
