    Of course they are, just as they're OK with General Petraeus being named Secretary of State even though he was CONVICTED of the kind of mishandling of classified information HRC was only ACCUSED of.

    Short of actually rigging the vote, there is no such thing as interference. Literally every group in the world tried to INFLUENCE the vote according to their interests. I'm sure the Russians did feel they'd be better off with Trump (because HRC is a psychotic war mongering ****.) Saudi Arabia felt they'd be better off with Hillary.

    It is meaningless to look at what may have helped Trump while ignoring what may have helped Hillary. You have no perspective or proportion. Every single day international media corporations that have no loyalty whatsoever to U.S. interests exert massive influence and that's normal.

    There is simply to no way to isolate the voters from influence. It's all in the game! Ultimately it is the responsibility of the American people to see through propaganda of various groups and vote according to the national interest.

    It's not WHO won, but HOW they won..  If Saudi Arabia hacked the Republicans and leaked selected data FOR THE PURPOSE of effecting the election, and the CIA had PROOF, OF COURSE, I'd call it a coup by the Saudi's..

    If you asserted that Russia fabricated the data, then I would understand where you were coming from. If you don't dispute that the data is genuine, you have no argument. The truth is never harmful. It doesn't matter where the truth comes from. It only matters where lies come from.

  • Any interference or influence from outside the US should be viewed with extreme suspicion... you value your rights and your right to determine your own future.. anyone tampering with that is bad news because if it's not wholly determined by US citizens then it may not represent the US well..

    If the influence is Russian that should be viewed as even more sinister... WHY are they interfering in US politics? What's their purpose... can ANY purpose they have for interfering in US politics????? This is the US's sworn enemy of old.... AND they are a violent superpower that actively invades and takes over other countries... personally while us Brits have no real  beef with Russia - I think it's alarming that they are trying to influence the US political system...

    I've tried saying so... but the right-wingers dismiss any concerns and seem actually pretty happy that it was the Russians who leaked the emails that damaged Hilary's campaign... and happy that the Russians actively support Trump... lets hope the US citizens don't end up regretting this... sorely!
