Nah, people don't have to agree with me on my opinions but to be respected they have to show respect. One way do show respect is behaviour, accepting and engaging in a true dialogue if they want to discuss/debate what's not agreed upon. Debasing others, name calling them and so forth simply shows a lack of respect. Hmm.
People usually seek agreement with others. It's natural human behaviour and valuable if we take life right back to basics.
What matters to me is that people produce something that's worth thinking about, something that challenges, however slightly, any ideas I may have.
People can do this by agreeing or disagreeing. Either is fine by me, and both can be achieved using regular reality rather than the pseudo version that seems to be popular at the moment.
