Here's what I surmised. I thought that you had a love years ago, nine to be exact, and you let this love get away with too much murder and created a monster. That's what I thought.
I don't think it was as bad in my generation as it was in previous ones. The ones I attended were also on the more lax side of them. There was still some of that " stick up their a**" BS though.
The other option wasn't all that great either though. Not in my home city's case anyways.
Best Answer: Not sure why this is in homework help, but I happen to have a beagle, so I can speak from personal experience.
Strengths: Very loyal and cuddly. He craves attention and still thinks he's a lap dog. Loves the outdoors. Extremely keen sense of smell. He can be sound asleep and suddenly wakes up barking - 30 seconds later, I will see the coyote running through my yard. He loves sticks. He will actually move the logs from our log holder and bring them to us. Funny story: when he was still a puppy, we had a wind storm. I was walking him around the block and the neighbor had a big branch that had fallen across the path. That puppy stood there looking at it and alternatively trying to pick it up (it was HUGE). I know he was thinking "how the heck am I going to get this home?" Not sure if this is a strength or weakness, but he is so smart. He can open the fridge and the cabinets, so it's like having a toddler!
Weaknesses: He is loud. Beagles bark! Enough Said!
Bottom Line: I love my Linus! He's beautiful, loyal, cuddly and yes, loud!
(Before I got Linus, I got a beagle book. The book said that if you're not willing to spend time with your dog, then don't get a beagle. That is the truth! They crave attention!) Source(s): The Beagle Book and 4 years experience!
I'll save all the stories for another time, but when we first adopted Nellie (she was about 2 years old), she had been bounced from home to home. My ex-wife's work friend who had two other beagles knew we were thinking of adopting a dog and asked us to consider Nellie. When we first met her, she was kind of traumatized by all the home changes, so she behaved a bit meek and unsure of herself. I noted to my ex that I was hoping to have a dog with a bit more personality (famous last words...;-D...).
Once she had been in our home for a few days and realized things were stable, her "I am Beagle, Queen of All I Survey" monster attitude emerged. ...;-D...
