    Absolutely, positively nothing.

If I am the change, I don't need to do anything differently.

  • As a card-carrying member of the hoi polloi, I doubt that any change I made -- especially in old age -- could be significant. I guess the best I could hope for was to get to understand other people.

Maybe that's the value of sites like this one. All of us, from all over the world, can exchange ideas and maybe get to understand each other in ways that would not otherwise be possible without actually living in another country.

  • Nothing really.    It's my personal belief that trying to change the world causes more damage than it solves or prevents.

People whine and cry about all the murders and guns. As police will tell you, much of this violence is drug related. Yet many people spend lotsa money to get their 'harmless' marijhuna. Kill, smokers, kill!

  • Hmm I often joke that I SHOULD be in charge of the world  but in truth although I would probably do a better job than *some* politicians I could mention  I would prefer to hand it over to the Green Party... it would be a shock for most of us if they ruled the world, we'd all have a lot of trouble getting used to not being so greedy, lazy, selfish etc.. but I like their way of thinking... even on immigration.. they value everyone but recognise that the IDEAL situation is that people wouldn't want or need to migrate to other countries such as the UK/US to avoid war and for economic reasons... value each and every culture, don't lets all try to be the same..
