Are we to believe Clinton was treated unfairly, as Obama said.

I think we have two NOs.

When Clinton decided to pull his pants down in front of an employee and have her perform her thing on him, he was dead in the water as far as I am concerned.

You are stupid enough to do that?  You have lost me.

@Thriftymaid, Obama was right. Hillary was treated miserably by the media. First, they set up the narrative for both candidates---giving Hillary a very negative one and Trump, a positive one. Then they gave Trump complete coverage over every single thing he tweeted and said. Hillary had to pay for her media coverage. The media didn't care, as all they cared about was ratings and Trump was giving them, entertaining and not covering the serious issues. Their job is to inform the public so they can make choices about issues that are important to them. I know people say people didn't care, but inciting violence is not a professional nor helpful way to cover a campaign. It became a circus.

They were working for her day and night.  About two weeks before the election a woman on CNN mentioned that perhaps they had blindly been supportive of Clinton.  Clinton tried to have her taken off the air.  Every mainstream outlet besides Fox behaved so unprofessional, unjournalistic, and purely propaganda spewing in favor of Clinton that even Democrats were talking about it.

The media's job is to report news.  They don't even have to be smart.  Just report what happens.  None of them seem to know that.    It's not their job to give us the information we need to vote.  That's the problem.  That is how they attempt to persuade you to vote for their choice.  News.  That is their only job.  And they FAIL miserably.

There is no excuse for CNN, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, and CBS.  All of them!!!   The local affiliates where I live did a fair job of just reporting where the candidates were and when debates and rallies would be.  They showed polls.  That is very different from what some of them do by just telling viewers what the polls said.  We aren't stupid; just put the chart on the screen.  Oh no, they prefer to interpret it for you.

I watched very llittle TV news for a year before the election.  I set up one browser for web news reading; it would not play videos.

I seriously don't know how you can make this claim.  The media even handed Clinton the question list before the debates and made sure Trump's mic equipment was half connected.  They should all be in jail.

Then my question becomes, "why did we not stop the whole hacking thing with the technology we have at our disposal"? From what I understand, the hacking supposedly happened multiple times. This post was edited by Zack at December 17, 2016 11:49 AM MST

    Timeline:
    1. FBI knew about Russian DNC hacks since 2015.
    2. What is new is that DNC emails and documents were leaked and published by Wikileaks. It included 7 DNC members from Jan. 2015 to May 2016.
    3. Wikileaks did not reveal its source. A self-styled hacker named Guccifer 2.0 claimed responsibility.
    4. On July 25, 2016, the FBI began investigating the hack.
    5. On Nov. 6, 2016, Wikileaks released a second batch of DNC emails, adding 8,263 to its collection.
    6. On Dec. 9, 2016, the CIA concluded that Russia conducted operations during the 2016 US election to assist Trump in winning the presidency.
    7. Multiple US intelligence agencies as well as independent analyses conducted by private cyber-security experts and firms, concluded people with direct ties to the Kremlin gave Wikileaks the hacked emails from the DNC.
    8. Guccifer 2.0, who admitted the hacks, leaking documents to the media, and conference events, is a persona created by two Russian intelligence groups to cover their inference in the 2016 election. This was concluded by US Intelligence. It was part of Russian intelligence "disinformation" campaign.
    9. Russia had used the same technique in previous cyber attacks on the German government and French network.
