    I don't think of things as duds anymore.  LOL   I know I am planning a quiet evening.  I like to be alone on holidays but seldom get to.  New Year's and 4th of July I am usually at home relaxing. 

    We are going to have a great year, you and I both.  We know how to appreciate things.

    In Scotland we call it Hogmanay, fling on our kilts and have a dram or three.


    Can't have too big a bang this year, what with the day after being Sunday. Can't be drunk in charge of the organ, not that many will notice.

    I'm going to surprise our youngest daughter and watch her 6 year old.  She's been working hard and was promoted at her job.. It will be quiet but fun.

    We can have a late birthday dinner/new year's dinner while we're at it.  Too cold to go anywhere for my birthday (few days BEFORE New Year's Eve) anyway!  :)

    Oh, about that evidence that they were holding over me, I forgot to tell you that it's not me they want, I'm just small potatoes. Their case is really against you, and they needed an inside man to pull everything together. I've been wearing a wire for the past three months, and I have complete immunity.  There were cameras planted in your place, so your goose is cooked, Lady. 

    (The next time I say I want to drive the getaway car, don't shunt me off to be the lookout.)

    Hmm. A bit hard to blame all bad things on the year, I think. After all it's the human race who caused most of the catastrophes. But it was a bang, that's for sure.
