I accumulated this list when I bought a house in Southwest Florida. Here, the birds they are aplenty and beautiful too.
This is an Osprey, or commonly called a Sea Hawk. The wing span is six feet. They are beautiful to watch glide right down to the water and snag their lunch. One tried to snag a little dog but it was too heavy for him to sly away so he dropped the horrified little canine.

Wonderful answer, Thrifty. I also lived in South Florida in the early 90's late 80's period and I remember a lot of waterfowl but did not get to see too many eagles.
Pigeons and sparrows with a smattering of red breasted robins and pair of cardinals. We used to have some crows, but thank heaven they've moved elsewhere. If we had a pear tree, we might have a partridge.
