Oh yeah?  I'll take your Goji OG (sounds pretty good, actually.... anything OG or KUSH is great) and raise you with Blue Dream, Girl Scout Cookies, Jack Herrer, Lemon Haze and Purple Urkle.

A lot of unfamiliar names to me. I take some of it, if not all are marijuana. They won't be any of my daily diet. Tried it a few times and didn't like it. Each to their own. :-)

Thank you for taking part in the question. It is appreciated. :-)

It is all marijuana names.  Most people are not cut out for this drug.  It IS a drug and it has a lot of properties.  Some use it for pain, some for anxiety, some for sleep and some to just function.

And some use it to party.   I find it highly preferable to most pills that do the same thing.  So far, they have found very little side effect.  Most of the lies they told are now being quashed by reality.  It does an amazing job of healing if you do not abuse it.  Just like coffee or beer or anything else.

But again, I have yet to hear many people loving it.  It is for those of us who can handle it.  I cannot handle booze at all.  So I understand when someone can't handle this instead.

I meant in no way to annoy anyone needing marijuana for health reasons. I was talking about it from the "partying" side.

Is there a difference for which "brand" to use as treatment? There was mentioned five different in the reply, would someone need all five to get through a day? I'm curious as I don't know anything about this. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at December 20, 2016 10:27 AM MST

Why do you think you are annoying anyone?  I was very politely and happily explaining what we were talking about like you are kind enough to do with me.  That is all.

Annoy might be wrong word, but was the only one I could come up with when I wrote my comment. Insult might be better or more covering for what I meant saying.

Do you have a reply for the second part of my comment, the questions? I am curious to know more about this.

    Hello again, SH

Without getting all wonky on you, at last count there are 85 different cannabinoids in pot.  Anecdotally speaking, they appear to have found ONE that works on epileptics.  It STOPS their seizures cold WITHOUT getting them high.  I BELIEVE that..  It also creates an appetite in chemo recipients, and I believe that.

Does it ally pain?  Not for me.  Does it make the pain more bearable?  Sure it does..

There are many more strains than I listed above.  The good strain is called Charlot's Web.

I smoke it, NOT because I need it, but because I LIKE it..

I see. My interest is if the different types of cannabis is having special effect on specific health issues, or they all more or less do the same. As said I am totally without any knowledge around this subject. My only knowledge was from trying it a few times for enjoyment which it tu out not being, for my part. Hmm.

    Hello again, SH:

What we know about this miraculous plant is just now being revealed..  It's ILLEGAL under federal law, so institutions that are dependent on the fed for money, grants, and such, did NOT study marijuana because POSSESSING it IS a felony..

    Hello again, SH:

I TOLD you..  Pay attention..  The name of a strain doesn't say what chemical it contains..  As far as I know, ONE strain, and one strain ONLY, contains chemicals that effect epilepsy.  All the strains create appetites..

That's ALL I know..  It's all ANYBODY knows because it's ILLEGAL to possess pot, EVEN if all you want to do is STUDY it..  Consequently, I used the word ANECDOTALLY.

If you think there's a HUGE body of science on the matter, you're mistaken

As far as I know there has been done research on this field several places around the world, not only the US. However I don't know anything about it, why I asked you as it seemed you were deeper into the subject. I am aware that cannabis is illegal to possess as private person, although it's been released to sale for health reasons in Colorado I believe. There must be some kind of research behind such a decision. Never mind though, thank you for the information you could give me on the subject. I wasn't aware of the positive effects on epilepsy.

    Hello again, SH:

So, you think they legalized it in Colorado because of the SCIENCE and not the HIPPIE'S????

ex.  I work with people who grow strains.  You are wrong.  Dead wrong.

There are all kinds of strains that aid in all kinds of illnesses.   If you are on meds and you have epilepsy, marijuanna may do nothing depending on the individual situation.  If someone has epilepsy and needs to calm down so the episodes are not as often, there are plenty of strains of Indica that would help the situation.   I work with caregivers and I also know first-hand from the patients what works for what reason and what does not.

They legalized it in Colorado for ONE REASON. THE MONEY.  Not the hippies.   They hippies could all take a hike and Colorado would still make millions on medicinal needs alone.  That is where this is headed now.  Medicinal use.

If you want to just blaze one, then you need to know what your system is sympatico with.  Indica is heavy and makes you sleep.  Sativa makes you feel like doing work and cruising while you do it.

Hybrids are all the rage because they are strains of certain kinds of Indica and Sativa.  It is a lot more sophisticated than just getting high.

If you think it is all the same, then get some good reggie and save your money.

Thank you, Sharonna. This was somewhat more informative. Interesting and certainly should be looked more into from a health point of view.
