Hi Lulu'sMom! Not sure if that makes me "wise", but it does baffle me that some seemingly intelligent people can get so caught up in that kind of thing.
To tell the truth, anyone can be taken in. People who are searching for answers and acceptance that they can't get in other places are prime targets for a cult. They will make them think what they are learning is the truth, and once they have them hooked, the rest is easy.
