  • Nah.   I haven't done much in  on New Year's Eve in years.  I just don't enjoy it very much.   Too many late night amateurs out and about.
    If I do anything it will likely be watching movies with an old friend if she's up for it.

  • The surprise would be some bloody preparation. It's all a bit of a waste of time, give me the Champagne and I'll take to bed for an early night in together.

  • It's just nasty crap.

    Some say it's the carbonation but I don't buy it.   Other carbonated alcohols don't  turn my stomach or give me a headache the way Champagne does.

    For me it seems white wines have something in them that makes me sick.
