    I had a fried bologna sammie with fried onions for lunch.  I love onion and mustard sandwiches but it's even better with liverwurst.  Limburger and onions......


    I hate mushrooms though.

    Italian food sans onions (and garlic) is practically obscene. Ditto Mexican.

    There's not a lot I cook WITHOUT onions.

  • I like to start with onions and garlic sautéed in olive oil or ghee for anything that requires slow cooking and well-blended flavours: soups, stews, and curries.
