Somehow, someway I managed to always stay in Jean's good graces. How? I have no idea. I found it very odd how she would scold and block people for minor things but never booed me for much, much more.
She blocked me a few times only to unblock, but it was hard to ever take it personal. I know that site was her whole life and she was up there in years. I think she had a good heart, all and all.
True. She just didn't appreciate people cursing or making off color remarks in her threads or replies to her. She did have a slight chip on her shoulder with some people though it seemed. Different worlds and centers I guess.
I got blocked for having a different opinion on something. I was surprised the first time she blocked because we never exchanged harsh words. We both loved animals and sent each other virtual hugs. Once I saw she was touchy with others, I just accepted her. We all have our quirks.
I used to feel sorry for her when people would strike back at her until I saw what she could really be like. I don't care how old people are that is no excuse to be a jerk.
I didn't like my 8th grade teacher, Sister Ann Paul. She hit me on my knuckles with a ruler. She looked like the Wicked Witch of the West with her crooked nose! *SHUDDERS* lol
Might be. I'm sure there are good ones too, but I would be stereotyping them right now with what I've seen in films. Not sure that's very flattering. Better not. Lol.
I can attest to that. We had some mean old nuns in school but others were some of the nicest and most gentle women I've still yet encountered. It was a strange dynamic in retrospect.
