    When you started and encouraged the nun bashing here, and, amazingly, admitted that you never knew a single nun, you reminded me of how the Trump supporters would vote for Trump without understanding anything about him. The similarities leapt off the page, especially when you wanted to "jail the old bats". Like the Trumpites shouting "Lock her up" re Hillary Clinton.     If you had read my other comments on here, you would have read that I did know a nun from another site.
    I don't know what any of this has to do with Trump or Hillary. But you can read into to it anyway you want.
    And if either Trump or Hillary were sniffing little girls crotches, then they should be in jail too.

    Interesting how he didn't bother to read the account of what my mother endured in the late 40s.  What happened to her WAS criminal.

    Besides that, this post has NOTHING to do with political candidates.

    It was just a question.  I didn't see it as bashing or encouraging others to 'bash' nuns. We all have different experiences. 
    I had a different experience than the OP because I was taught for a short time by nuns. Some did get out of hand when dealing with those they taught.

    I made sure that I shared a positive story about some nuns that my mom came in contact with in later life.  

    Telling some uncomfortable truths in the proper contex is not "bashing".

    There was an eighth grade teacher (nun) that we used to call "Tank."

    Mostly size, but she was also a disciplinarian.
