    There may be individual intelligence officers who get their knickers in a twist when their reports go unheeded, but as a combined entity the National Security State doesn't give a f**k.

    So long as they receive their funding to continue listening in on phone sex conversations, it doesn't matter to them if their intelligence reports are believed or not.

  • I doubt any of them really care all that much.   I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they are happy as long as their  cash cow keeps paying and they are given ungoverned abilities to do whatever they want and escape any culpability.  Being part of the government that's above the government.
