LOLOLOLOL!
Of course! How many people try to save the marriage any way possible? "I'll just spruce things up a bit around here and everything will be alright!"
~
Lol:)
I've heard of arrangements like that.
Can I get in on one of those?
~
Possibly.
Yes. When my ex and I were married, I refused to redo the master bedroom. That was supposed to be our "treat" for fixing all the other needs throughout the house and sticking to the budget. It had nasty brown shag carpeting from the 1970s and everything, but we lived with it for 13 years. No matter what, I could not motivate my ex to help me around the house. When he left, I fixed up the whole house alone, and doing up the master bedroom was my crowning touch. ^_^ Ohh, I love the floors in there so much I could hug them and the fact that it's "mine" makes it that much sweeter.
That remains to be "seen."
Yes. Stressfull situations are know to lead to weird 'diversionary actions' as the stressed person try 'not to think about it'.
Most often such actions are daily routine, such as vacuuming, cleaning windows or house renovations. but it can occasionally be wild departures from normal routine. Like going bungee jumping or getting engrossed in tantric yoga.
I actually included that at first, but I was afraid it went a little over the top. ;)
Actually, yes. When talking about divorce sometimes the couple realizes they don't want to separate but don't know how to find happiness with each other again. Often they will put off the divorce and try to become close by doing things like renovating a house or buying a new one, taking a long trip together, taking dancing lessons together, or any number of things.
I know you meant this as a silly question, but the answer truly is 'yes.'
Sometimes silly questions do have sensible answers. Lol:)
