Yes they do. Anybody who holds the same views they did twenty years ago, has not learned anything, has not grown an inch, and is a slave to an idea. Never changing your views, is the surest way to get old, to be like stagnant water, to die.
Unless I know the complete history, story behind something there is always wiggle room. Unless of course I have experienced something first hand and know what happened.
And yes Rosie that includes Trump. He is immature and really rough around the edges but the purported direction he wants to take this country in is what I'm counting on. If he messes up then I will be right there, expressing my dismay along with everyone else. At least there is a chance, with Hillary that did not exist.
Thank you for your thoughtful response Sunshine. I truly and honestly hope you are correct in your view. I do. As for me I feel he is an evil blight who will take our country down and out. He has already sold us out to Russia and made it very clear he values Putin/Russia more than he does our country and its citizens. He has put people in charge of departments whose only goal will be to weaken them/gut them/eliminate them. I see no light at the end of this tunnel. It is very dark out there for me. I do realize I could be very wrong. All I have to go on is what he represented himself to be, what he says, with whom he spends time and what he promised. I know he is a liar. What politician isn't? But if he actually does what he said he would I see nothing of value to America or our citizens in that at all. But once again I sincerely hope I'm dead wrong. I'll make a deal with you. If he turns out to be a good prez and supports our country and ALL our citizens(not just a favored few) and doesn't continue to be a lapdog puppet for Putin I will ask a question on Answermug stating that I have changed my mind about him and I will apologize for not giving him a chance. I promise I will do that. I don't know how long it will take for him to prove his intentions are honorable for ALL Americans. I'm not going to give any time limit to this. Any prez needs time to get his bearings, learn how to do the job and start producing. My promise is to you directly. Okay? Happy Monday Sunshine! :) Really nice answer m'dear.
