I've lived in places like that. In Denver, Colorado the weather goes up and down rapidly. It was exactly like you described: a blanket of snow one day and the weather so hot the next day it would all melt. In Kailua, Hawaii too. We used to say that it didn't matter if it rained every morning because it would only last five minutes and be sunny the entire rest of the day. :)
The weather has been wonky over the past 6 weeks, its been snowy and hanging around the freezing mark since the beginning of December which is unusual for my area (i live on the Westcoast of B.C. in the lower mainland area).. normally it might snow for a day and than melt right away but this year its been lingering far too long. im tried of it!!. but luckily its suppose to warm back out to normal this week (with rain) so the snow will finally go away.
