  • I don't have as many now after the Doc's grounded me from flying our WW2 restored airplanes and I sure loved to fly them! Now I just read a lot and beta-test PC games for a company and really enjoy it. Plus I get the games free. I'm also helping develop a WW2 submarine game with Shenandoah Studio's and that's of great interest to me!
But I really miss flying the old warbirds my Uncle willed to my cousin and I. A BF109g, B-25, B-24, and an awesome P-38. Picture is kind of old now but that's me flying the blue P-38.

Wow wow wow Rooster! What a bonanza of a great answer with pictures even! Wow! My Jim just read this post too and is wowed. He is a pilot too. But he is currently  81 and hasn't flown for years however we both know once a pilot always a pilot. He is mighty impressed with thee m'dear! Where I worked years ago we were a Beta  test site for a new accounting program and after doing whatever trouble shooting I could do on my end we got the perfected program for free! I loved doing that. You are involved in creating games as well? Oh boy. I'd sure like to tour inside your head to just see how it works. It's funny I said that to a Boss once years ago. He was the best boss I ever had and brilliant at finance. He just smiled and said I was a lot smarter than I thought I was and I could figure things out on my own! He gave me confidence I guess I didn't have and he was right. I could figure things out on my own. All I had to do was try and keep at it. Thank you for your very spiffy and nifty answer. I bet flying something like was pure bliss. I'm glad you had those experience m'dear. It makes you a VERY interesting person to chat with. Thank you for being so forthcoming Rooster. I appreciate it and Happy  Thursday! :)

  • You're very welcome! I just wish my Doc hadn't grounded me as I sure miss it! But I stay busy with Slitherine testing games and I enjoy it.

I'm really happy for you m'dear. I am. I know my Jim gets a lot of joy out of playing tennis and golf! I love cooking and Scrabble and being here on Answermug chatting with folks and watching the history and science channels. I think doing what you really enjoy is a blessing at any age but most especially as you get older! We're so lucky Rooster! :) Where are the planes? Didja hafta sell 'em? They are very impressive!

Few...this is my main one. Science is another. I am thinking of taking an audit class or two at our University. I also like to observe Nature from my front porch. I watch the patterns of bird migrations and other unusual things.
