Have you ever watched a website self destruct?

Mainly because the owner just doesn't care about the people who use it and just lets it go to hell?

  • Sodahead was one of them!! it got bad towards the end and than closed without warning. Now seeing blurtit slowly self destructing too. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at January 15, 2017 3:37 PM MST

    With hindsight, there were some warnings that Sodahead was turning a bad leaf.  I do remember it became a free for all with the attack socks and the posts that were allowed.  Getting the attention of moderation was an act of God and often took several members coming together to get attack posts removed.  

    But they sure never gave us warning that one day, our accounts would be frozen shut.  I thought at the very least, they would allow us access to our own emails and photos, even if we could no longer post.  Shame on any chat site that does this to people that kept them going for years.
