What was the last situation from which you decided it would be best to just walk away?

  • Yes. I will be at my current job until July 6th of this year. I start my new job July 11th of this year. I can't wait to get started at the new one, my current supervisor is acting like a horses a$$ since I turned in my two-week notice. She's not talking to me and the tension is thick as fog. She might actually have to do a little bit of work now and she can't deal with it.

Ok, I see.  Thank you for the clarification: I thought you were saying that you had already started the new job on the 11th of the month, so I was confused when you said June instead of July.  Now I understand.

I hope everything works out a lot better at the new one.

    :)

Now why did you "apostrophize" a fraction? People will think that I didn't raise you correctly, so quit DOING stuff like that!

  • A week ago. I start a new job on July 11th. I've been at my current job for over 14 years, no chance of promotion, very few raises-none over 1.5% in the past several years. My current supervisor is now shunning me and treating me like a criminal. She is showing her true colors. I'm happy to be leaving that mess behind. The new job pays a LOT more, the insurance is cheaper and the benefits are better.....It was time to walk away.

When visiting Newport beach the wedge got up to 20 ft. waves, I used to ride them but at my age now and my back breaking accident a few years ago, I decided to walk away. Here's the Wedge on one of those days.
