The Future. I can't control the past but the future is up to me.
That's true. The past has shaped you . The experiences you've had have formed you. You learn from the good and hopefully don't repeat the bad. Thank you for your reply DCF!:)
The present. We can't control what will happen in the future but we can try and make a better prognosis in the present.

Can't be bothered about the future after the past left me with not much in the present, so I live in the present, day by day disaster after disaster. Honestly I really don't see a future at all..
That makes me feel very sad Articfox. I know it's very murky and misty and not clear but there is a future out there. Hopefully it will be better than we think. I have been depressed recently because of the endless day-after-day-day carnage going on around the world. Terrorists. Cop haters. Cops who murder unarmed blacks and get away with it. One thing after another. It's relentless. I think we're all just going through a really tough time ....some are having it rougher than others but it affects all of us. I hope things change for you and soon so that you will see a future out there for you that appeals to you. Thank you for your honest answer and Happy Monday! :)
You can only live in the present moment. I agree with that.
