  • Good question for Jaimie! She gave in to the dark side a long time ago, eh? Hockey can do that Didge! Hard to tell at what point though eh?

The first time you light up a cigarette or take that first drink if you are an alcoholic.

  • It can certainly seem so if the person doing the smoking or drinking has an addictive personality but most of us can enjoy our habits in moderation without falling under their thrall.

I had a problem back in the 70s (I've mentioned it elsewhere on aM so I won't keep banging the same drum) and stopped drinking literally overnight. For about six years I wasn't game to drink anything. Now I can if I want to but usually don't bother except for a daily glass of wine with a meal. I haven't had a beer since the kids took me out for my 70th birthday, when I drank just one. I may have another on my 80th if they do it again. It's no longer a problem.

I'm not sure when it happened.  I was just resting.  Now, I embrace the lazy.

This edit is an experiment to see if I can post a video.  (Darn newbies!)
    Nope!  I'll try again.

    Third try.

Luckily the photo went up exactly the same way.  I'll go find a "how to" in FAQs to see if I can suss out videos on mobiles.  I'll message you if I get it.
I never got a gif to work in answers on Blurtit.  I could only put them in comments.

I'm the brain?  Wow.  The world is worse off than I thought.  :D
I guess we just do what the video says, post it blank, and give it a few minutes to kick in.

  • I actually found that picture when I was putting these Bad Habit questions together. Dunno if those heels are standard wear beneath the habits.

  • I know exactly what you mean. I had to sign off an hour ago and flex myself out into the kitchen to cook lunch. A husband's work is never done. :(
