Is your city/town famous for something?

Interesting...I have never watched it.

It's very beautiful. If you see it in person, it's stunning. The smell of the flowers is everywhere. 

I would imagine so.

I'm not into parades but I'd really like to see that one. It's been going for a long time now. 

I see it every year, lately on t.v. Some years are in my opinion better than others. This year wasn't one of my favorites, but last year was very lovely.

Where do you live and I will tell you something famous about it.

what kind of wild animals are there,
while you live right in the middle of them?
It doesn't look like rattlesnake country.

No rattlesnakes in Oz but in our area we have brown snakes and death adders. They're deadly enough for me. We also have wallabies, kangaroos (occasionally see one when we walk the dog in the early morning but they're fairly shy), the occasional wombat, echidnas, lyre birds, and at dawn on Chrismas Day we were lucky enough to see a platypus which had been sitting on the bank but leapt into the river as we approached. There's a veritable rainbow of cockatoos, parrots and parakeets, lots of more common birds, and we often wake in the morning to the sound of kookaburras.

I remember one winter walking to the railway station very early. I was still in shade but high above 30 or so pink-and-grey galahs were playing in the sunshine as the sun rose over the hill. It was one of those beautiful moments you never forget. 

I see where you get your name now.

One of the characters in my novel had a mystical didgeridoo he always called his didge. I borrowed it from him. 

There is another Aussie here that lives in a similar environment in NSW.
