It's a business yellow pages. They don't make them for personal numbers anymore. I already know the numbers to whom I call. And yes, I have a landline.

  • Lol non , yellow pages :) I just finally gave up my landline about year ago.... My friends  would ask me why still keep .... And only reason I did was to call my cell when I couldn't find it :) $80 dollars a month to expensive  price for my scatter brain ;)

  • I haven't used a phone book for years. I get a new one every year and they go right into the recycle bin. I always go online to find numbers.

  • Not for years. I can look up a number on line quicker than in a directory.

We have them delivered to our house every year.  Of course I do.  What I took away from your question was: Are there people on AM that are old enough to remember "how" to use a phone book and if so, do you?
The answer is yes there are and yes, we do.
See, we were raised when most of us didn't have enough money to buy a $400+ phone.  Our phones hung on our kitchen walls or sat on our tables.  I don't think you're lazy.  I think you've grown up with many things we didn't.
In our defense, I would like to say, we know the Dewey Decimal System and know how to use a library probably better than most people 20 years and younger.
So, even though you know how to google, perhaps better than us, we do know how to use other resources better.  Hence, we can and will be able to survive when there is a power outage.;)
