I was in my early 30's. We flew from Gallatin Tn to Lake Barkley Ky. It was a little 6 seater Cessna. We walked the nature trail, had dinner at the club and then flew back. My friend was trying to get his pilots license and his friend was the actual pilot. I had a blast! There were four of us and it was a really good time.
I went up in one of those toy airplanes once only to throw a hissy fit and demand to be taken back down. Someone offered a ride to my husband and me; he was contemplating taking flying lessons. He was mad at me for a whole week. I still maintain he should have gone without me like I suggested. Oh, but no...................
That was many years ago. We just had a laugh about that recently. :)

I thought I was going to be that way too. I had never flown and I was a nervous wreck. I made my friend stop and get me some Dramamine before we got there. I honestly didn't know that taking two would make me drunk as a skunk. :)
Sounds great. I've flown in very small aircraft and they just seem to hang in the sky. I knew (roughly) the theory of why we were able to stay up, but it all seemed irrelevant and unreal. I enjoyed it lots.
