...Smart guy Lao Tsu...yes indeed. So Yes, when the mind is still and silent with no thoughts running through it, the light of our Soul is shining brightly. ...The Absolute is the individual Soul, so when the Ego disappears Reality presents itself. ...So yes it is a big challenge to silence the mind.
After many lifetimes of putting energy into the thought world (the dream) we have become very attached to our thoughts and believe the world to be real and embrace a mind full of thoughts. The attachments have grown and have become like a brick wall. ...thankfully we have our Beloved Spiritual teachers who bring the light into our awareness and the ultimate Truth into our Knowledge.
...And Thankfully Our past and present Spiritual masters have long ago discovered that Through Meditation we can have a direct experience of this ultimate Absolute Truth within us.
haha just some idle thoughts passing through this mind. Cheers

I believe I can be at war between my thoughts and what my soul needs to feed on. I have been known to talk myself into as well as out of things. Sometimes being quiet is the loudest way to be...
There's undeniable truth in that but, Sharonna, Lao Tsu was reported to have spent 85 years in his mother's womb before being born with a long grey; then he enters the world and the best he can give us is a fortune cookie?
Just as well he wasn't twins. If Lao Tsu and Sun Tzu had shared the same womb, who know what philosophy they might have conjured up.
