Where was the outrage when Pres. Obama banned Iraqis, or Carter banned Iranians? Were they legal?

Trump's ban is from countries Pres Obama determined are terrorist supporters. It is based on that. 

That's not how many people see it and that is his own fault due to his own words.

True... that is one of the downfalls of not being a politician, non-politicians have not learned to that everything they say can and will be used against them and also twisted by the other side.

To be fair, just about all our recent Presidents had interests of some kind in Saudi Arabia.   They been the elephant in the room for quite some time.

Then why are they the 7 countries Pres Obama identified as a threat?

Why would Pres Obama be worried about people visiting these specific countries? Perhaps Obama was worried about who they "visiting" in the countries, were they "visiting" the terrorists who "come from" there.

Obama temporarily banned "ALL" Iraqis in 2011 for 6 months after al-Quada members were found in KY were living as refugees. 
ABC reported:

Certain might be the missing detail in your objective here.

(1) If I were Trump, I would NOT listen to ANYTHING the FOUNDER of ISIS says.  But, strangely, he IS.  (2)  No Americans have been killed in terrorist attacks from refugees ON that list..  On the other hand, America HAS suffered DEATH from terrorists, from countries NOT on that list..

I wonder WHY that is..  Don't you?

They went with the countries were on Pres Obama's list already in law. Trump's EO expanded Obama's law. The EO did not mention the 7 countries the only country mentioned in Trump's was Syria. 

As I understand it some of the questionable countries not on the list are because they help in the war on terror. 

Saudi Arabia "helps" in the war on terror yet has been known to funnel monies to the terrorists or terrorist organizations.

I don't know how much help they are. Those are just reasons I have be able to Google under both Trump and Obama. 

The reason I put "help" in quotation is because you can't help in the war on terror if you're contributing to it.
