Ok, I know, I know. This is the equivalent of attacking somebody's religion or politics, but which do you prefer, and why? Can dog owners and cat owners peacefully co-exist as neighbours?
I have both dogs and cats but I don't understand why people want to pick one animal over another and take sides. My dogs and cats get along just fine with each other.
I also have rabbits, fish, horses, a donkey and some cows.
Livvie I live in Sydney and it's traditional for us to mock anybody who hails from Melbourne. We tell all manner of unkind jokes (Tasmania is an aboriginal word meaning Not Far Enough From Melbourne) yet it's a really nice city.
It's like that with dog and cat owners. Most of us enjoy both animals but it's TRADITIONAL for us to snipe at each other. And good fun, too.
Well, except for Plimsby, maybe. I think he really means it. :(
I get that with locations because we like to do the same thing with other states here so yeah, I live 8 1/2 miles from Minnesota so I love ribbing them. My dad moved to Minnesota when he got married so I don't know what he was thinking. He crossed over to the dark side!
I'm from South Dakota and I hear South Dakota has a twin just to the north of us that nobody likes to talk about.

Will always be a cat person. Cats are just so much like me: they're lazy, they're independent, they're aloof, and you can't make them do anything they don't want to do. Describes me to a T.
Cats can be quite cool- if you get the right one. but im more of a dog person (smaller dogs like Pekingese and pugs), gender? i prefer to have a female.
