True friend?

One that sticks by you through thick and thin. A true friend is always there when you need them and are true blue. The ones that say they are your friend but talk behind your back are just an acquaintance. Not a true friend. Met plenty of those on websites.

Loyal! If a friend isn't loyal than I don't consider them a friend. I can deal with almost anything but someone not being loyal gets a goodbye kick in the rear end, lol. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at February 2, 2017 10:20 AM MST

Someone who has got your back.

"Someone who will share their ice cream with you!"

A friend is someone who you can call in the middle of the night and say you need to talk to them and they will drop everything and come to you.  AND they will bring a half gallon of Ben & Jerry's ice cream.

One that will stand elbow to elbow with you when your out numbered in a bar fight. Cheers!

A true friend never gives me reason to think they are going to suddenly turn angry on me without warning, talk behind my back when frustrated with me, or disappear when I am feeling down.  In other words, a good friend is someone I trust without batting an eyelash.  

A true friend has that way of bringing out the best in you.  

I am blessed with a few of these wonderful friends.  

My dog, nobody would ever come close.

A friend is someone who lacks enemy behavior.
