Will Karma ever catch up with you? Or, did you get away with it?

As for me, I don't know if I'll get away with it, I suppose time will tell, yeah?

I read a quote a couple of years ago. "Karma is a b__ch only of you are." In other words Karma is kind if you are. I try to be kind, granted I am human and not always successful. And most people are kind back. So Karma is keeping up.

  • So is your conscience that clean?
Where you know Karma ain't got nothing on you?

Yes. I don't believe the turn around on karma is that long. The only thing I worry about is who help will take care of me if I get to the point I need it. I will not let my mother-in-law move in. I value my sanity and my marriage more than that. And yes, my husband feels the same way. So karma may get me in the end. Hopefully I will see the signs long before I get that far and find a nice assisted living place to go.

  • Ahh I see. His mother you mean, right? That's a tough one. Well,. . If that's the only thing you think Karma may get you back on, I think you're doing pretty good. Thanks Gatorblu.

  • Oh, yeah, I've been well and truly karmaed. All those marathons I ran when I thought I was indestructible have come back to bite me on the butt. Well the knees, really. And the ankles. These days it feels like a marathon to walk to the shops and back.

  • That's not really Karma getting back at you. Like I said to Gator blu. I think you're doing pretty good if repercussions from running is all that Karmas got on you. You must have been a good person. Thank you Mr.D.

Lago, you gave me an idea,I wanna write a blog about Karma, karma is a concept from Hinduism and later became a concept of Buddhism, but somehow somewhere it lost its actual meaning.....I will try to write about it soon;))

  • I'll look forward to it. Unfortunately the idea has been trivialised by Western usage. I'll be interested in your comments.

  • One would have to first establish that karma is not just specious.
