If you were rich, what weird thing would you buy that you can't buy now

I read this article
https://apnews.com/716f2eefedb346269e87b750c6f4eed3/Someone-bid-$100,000-for-a-Cheeto-that-looks-like-Harambe

If you had the money, would you spend $100K to buy a cheeto that looks like a dead ape?  I wouldn't.

I might buy Harambe's taxidermied body if it was available.  I think it might look cool in between the bookcase & the fireplace.  But, not a cheeto.  No.  I hate cheetos.

If you had the money, what weird thing would you buy?

  • Money no object?

An authentic shrunken head.   Hard to come by and very expensive when one becomes available but I really, really want one. If that wasn't available maybe a human skeleton and some animal mutation specimens.

Yup money is no object. and

I like the way you think.  I like that stuff too.  One of my favorite shows was Oddities.  I couldn't get enough of the weird and wondrous stuff they would buy and sell.

  • I've visited  Loved to Death on several occasions back when I was out that way.  I collect macabre things but those would be the brass ring for me.

But you're rich!  "Showing off" is just a term used by the poor little folk.  Rich people admire other rich people's acquisitions.  So, I say, buy both the car & BC.  Then you can easily take a tour across your new land purchase in your new car purchase.

But, I suggest waiting until the summer to do it.

  • I wouldn't buy anything weird, especially a Cheeto, cuz I love Cheetos and all it would take is one drunken night and I'd probably wake up to discover I ate the dang thing.
