More drama, what do I do?

I recently became Facebook friends with a woman that I knew when we were little, she was cheated on by her ex just like I was and we both have kids.
Sometimes she posts memes that I really relate to so I like them and comment sometimes and I message her when I'm really depressed, she's really hot, but I don't think we would be ideal as a couple so we're just friends.
Recently I noticed that who I think is her nasty ex in my people I may know list meaning he's probably watching me thinking I'm hooking up with his ex.
I'm not.
Should I just get away from her or what?
Should I be worried about this as_hole?
Do I just attract drama?

First of all, I don't see any drama. Well, except for the drama from your overactive inagination.

You don't even know exactly who her ex is (I think her nasty ex might be in the "people you may know").

He may not even BE the nasty person you refer to him as, but rather not the right person for her.

Then you say "he's probably watching me"...thinking I'm hooking up with his ex". What makes you think anyone is watching, let alone what they might be thinking?

It sounds like you're creating enough imaginary drama that you don't need the help from anyone else.

If you like this wonan, go for it. If not, stop worrying about what some stranger may or may not be thinking.

  • You never know, I just don't trust anyone anymore.
I loved my ex we were together since we were 21 and she just completely f_cked me over and betrayed me.
She was my best friend and partner through everything for years.
If she can hurt me then I feel like everyone wants to hurt me.
Just going through a lot right now.
Thanks. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at February 9, 2017 9:39 AM MST

You're absolutely right, everyone does have the potential to hurt you. But just remember, when you put that wall up, the amazing can't get through either. It ends up being your double edged sword.
