Well, chalk up another crime I committed... I've told the story about being an extra in the movie business, where I played a cop in Dangerous Affection. We were filming at the REAL Seattle Police headquarters.. So, it came to pass that I needed to use the john. As, I'm wandering down the hallway, a REAL cop was struggling with a prisoner.. As I passed, he said, "Aintcha gonna HELP"? So, I helped.
I guess I COULD have been arrested for it, huh? I blame it on the uniform.. It changes you..
As long as you are on the set with people to vouch for you it is no problem. It is OK for the 'villains' to run around with guns too. But then the local cops must be informed of when, where and who before you start the filming
And if you try to 'be funny' with it in the adjacent cafeteria you will be breaking the law.
