Why does my avatar have a green dot inside a white circle?

Some of us have them and some do not. Does it indicate that we're dotty? Or that JA intends to pay us? Or that we're not using adBlock? Or that the FBI has marked us for expressing anti-Trump sentiments?

    From what I understand it alerts everyone you are currently logged on to the site. Hold your cursor over the dot and it will show you are online.

  • I was up fairly late, Ancient One. When Virginia joined I stayed on to chat for a while. Since then I've slept, walked, breakfasted, and am just about to go out and do the Sunday shopping.

    Ancient got that right. Merely shows you're currently online. However, it will show for a while if you stay online but close your computer/device. :-)
