I used to cycle to work a couple of times a week. Since it was 60 km I needed a shower but, as our building didn't have one, I used to go next door to the GPO and use theirs. It was on the third floor. One morning as I walked up the stairs I heard two men fighting and the unmistakable sound of a pair of specs hitting a concrete floor and they were between me and the shower. In my track suit I could have been anybody so I just pointed at the specs and said, "Pick those up, put them on, and get back on your job." They couldn't have been too keen to fight because the went. And I got my shower.
That was incredibly quick/good thinking my friend. Under those circumstances or any other circumstances. It was direct, commanding and assured . Who is gonna argue with that? Thank you for sharing that bit of your history Didge! Good job! Well done! :)

sometimes i can be pretty clever , like one time i was taking this cab somewhere cause i needed to do a drug test and buses didnt go there, the guy was saying how he had to come back and get this other lady after me and take her to the same area i was in so he was kind of in a hurry, so i said to him, if shes going to the same area im in, why dont you just take us both at the same time , and that would say him time, he mustve thought i was clever cause he went and got her,
