This is an amazing image. The stark contrast between peace and violence could not be any clearer.  

I'ts horrifying that American police are militarized.  When I see this, I'm annoyed that this is how the police have responded to a peaceful protest, yet I know for a FACT the police did not respond as such to the Bundy Ranch / Oregon Wildlife fiasco. That in itself shows a double standard in America when it comes to Blacks & Whites.

The courage of the that woman is to be commended and the photographer who snapped that photo deserves a Pulitzer
