Have you ever heard of or experienced a mishap occurring at work because somebody was texting instead of paying attention?

    As a matter of fact, yesterday I learned the wife of a neighbor of mine down the road had a "texting" accident. She was texting while walking along a concrete sidewalk in the city. She tripped, fell and broke her nose. Witnesses told the EMTs it appeared she continued to text while falling and thus hit her face on the concrete at full force.     Yes.. has been items in the news media about pedestrians having texting accidents.
