I've been gone all week on AM.

College is not joke, once you're in you're in, I have no life, but I'm here now. Did I miss anything important on AM?

Say what? If we had anything important, we wouldn't be here.

Once you've grown up and are working for a living and perhaps responsible for people other than yourself (a family), you'll look back fondly on this time and realize that college is relative child's play by comparison. There's more than a bit of truth in the lyrics of the old Yale song, Bright College Years:

Bright College years, with pleasures rife,
    The shortest, gladdest years of life;
How swiftly are ye gliding by!
Oh, why doth time so quickly fly?
The seasons come, the seasons go,
The earth is green or white with snow,
But time and change shall naught avail
To break the friendships formed at Yale.

In after years, should troubles rise
To cloud the blue of sunny skies,
How bright will seem, through mem'ry's haze
    Those happy, golden, by-gone days!
Oh, let us strive that ever we
May let these words our watch cry be,
Where'er upon life's sea we sail:
"For God, for Country and for Yale!"
So, young grin, enjoy "the shortest, gladdest years" of your life and savor them to look back on "through mem'ry's haze."
