    Some news is better than no news. I think the media has been feeling the pressure to make the news more spectacular due to an overall drop in general interest in news products such as newspapers. (our local newspaper printing facility was just torn down to make way for a new Kroger Superstore) Everybody wants HONEST, FACT BASED INFO. ( and you can keep your red herring, I'll have a plate of Lake Erie Yellow Perch any day!

    If you eliminate all those things, then that would mean the end of a very entertaining soap opera "As The White House Turns"..  Then what would we do for entertainment?? Probably read a book or something.
