I just cleaned house on my AnswerMug Friends' List and purged a lot of driftwood. When you do so with yours, will I make the cut?

No you won't, but did I make it through and am I still on yours? Hmm.

I would not cut you out, and I'm glad to see I'm still on your list! :D

No. My list isn't getting cleared until I do the migration, at which point all friend lists will be erased. :/ I will be adding people back in as quickly as possible after we're settled.

Any date for the migration, or is it still not a fixed one?

We keep finding new bugs. I thought I'd be bringing the beta testers on this week, but I had a meeting with the mods on Saturday and we caught more issues. So, it'll probably be the end of this week before those get fixed and beta testers will be coming on next week. The switchover depends on what issues they find.

How much notice will members receive before the pogrom begins? (That word was intentionally used.)

    What an insipid idea.

Take me off and I won't even notice. I am not interested in your friend's list or anyone else's.   Grow up.

It depends on when the site is ready. Ideally, I'll give everyone a one-week notice, then a reminder 24 hours ahead of time, and then another email when the Mug does dark during the transition. The site will have to go down long enough for me to scrape all the data and upload it to the new site. That, by itself, will probably take 1-2 hours. Everyone will get a message when the site comes back up again as well.

FYI, I sent you an invite to the beta tester group and I don't think you accepted. If you're used to using a mobile device and you have emails shut off, the alert may not be obvious. Please switch to desktop mode and join, so that you can help us test.
