Discussion»Questions»Politics» Poor Jeff Sessions.. He's being treated SO unfairly.. But, he WANTS to fill up our jails with pot smokers like me. Is that FAIR?
We now know that the Russian ambassador met with 7 Democrats who were Senators at the time so we should treat them the same as Sessions? But wait, they are Democrats so it is okay. And actually as for pot, I am not for it but I do think the States can decide their own laws.
At first it was just the meeting they harped on and then when they realized oops we did that too, they go for lied. But really I agree he could have elaborated more but he did not lie saying he did not talk campaign with the guy. He was asked about talking campaign with them and said he had not. There were 2 witnesses present. Ridiculous any way, how could Russia influence our election, who would vote according to what they say in this Country? And if the Republicans wanted hacking, why would you ask them? Just get a local guy. And all that was leaked was not denied as factual e-mails. So if you don't want to get caught then don't do it.
Well if jails are becoming privatized somebody will be making all the more bucks for every person who is sent to jail. Maybe there are those who get a bit of underhanded cash kickback when judges hand out jail time for minor things like j-walking, smoking pot etc.
